Al Huda Islamic School is the only private Islamic School in Southern Arizona. It has a non-profit 501(c)3 status and offers students a comprehensive program using the Pearson’s curriculum. It is accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools which is recognized by the US Department of Education and utilizing the AdvancED Improvement Network to ensure that our school maintains the highest quality possible with continued improvement. We are committed to providing a nurturing environment with a focus on core subjects and Islamic subjects to ensure that our students grow spiritually as well as educationally. Low student/teacher ratios ensure that all of our students receive the care and attention that they need and deserve.
Al Huda’s Goals
- To establish pride in our student’s Muslim identity and teach them to live according to the Qur’an and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
- To promote excellence in manners (adab) based on the teachings of Islam.
- To have an active parent teacher teamwork. We want parents to be involved and play an active role in their child’s learning.
- To have an “open door policy.” We want to encourage our parents to constantly provide us with comments, constructive criticism, and feedback on how we are doing and can improve. By working together as a team, parents, administration and staff can build a strong foundation for the institution to grow leaps and bounds, inshAllah.
